The Nordic region’s largest supplier of flexible housing solutions, Adapteo Denmark, will build 500 furnished rental homes in Rødbyhavn.

The decision is based on the very high level of activity in the area, not least due to the Fehmarn project, which has created an increasing need for temporary or long-term accommodation of employees.

Ready for occupancy by January 2023

Adapteo has leased a land area of 45,000 square meters from the Lalandia Holiday Center, on which to locate the new residential area.

In addition to the housing, which have their own bathrooms and toilets, a number of joint facilities will be established.

The total of 12,000 square meters of housing is expected to be ready for occupancy by January 2023, Adapteo informs.

A perfect match

Due to our existing involvement in the Rødby area, we have experienced that many companies have a need for accommodation for their employees, which cannot be covered at all by existing hotels and rental accommodation. It is a perfect match for our products that can be scaled up and down in relation to existing demands, while at the same time supporting a sustainable and circular way of thinking, ”says Claus Haastrup, Head of Sales at Adapteo Denmark.

Third Adapteo project in Rødbyhavn

The new homes are Adapteo’s third project in Rødbyhavn.

In 2021, the company delivered flexible housing in the 30,000-square-meter FLC Village for the Fehmarnbelt project, and this year Adapteo is also opening an office hotel adjacent to the tunnel project's production area, into which a number of companies have already secured rental agreements.
